I’m Brett Price, a Melbourne-based photographer who shoots from above.
Victoria is a strange and underrated place to fly over. The coastline at Flinders doesn’t look anything like a coastline from 80 metres up — it looks like chemistry. The paddocks near Moorabool flatten into abstract geometry. The sand at Inverloch rearranges itself daily, indifferent to whether anyone’s watching.
I photograph these places without permission from the landscapes themselves. Then I turn the results into limited edition fine art prints — made to be looked at slowly, from across the room.
Every print is made in Melbourne using 310gsm Cotton Rag, Epson Ultrachrome Pro inks, and hand-sanded Victorian Ash frames. Museum-grade plexiglass. Archival adhesive. Built to last longer than the reasons you bought it.
